Former Manchester United star, Jesse Lingard had no shortage of offers in January suggests report
Jesse Lingard’s career seemed to be over when he took his leave from Manchester United back in 2022. After a brief stint with Nottingham Forest last year, the 31-year-old had been without a team for quite some time.
However, according to a new report from The Sun, Lingard had over 25 offers during January. It seems like a lot of clubs are still willing to bet on the talents of the former Manchester United man.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the 31-year-old midfielder has already agreed upon a two-year deal with FC Seoul. It seems like this amazing talent will soon be making head turns over in South Korea.
South Korea have also advanced to the semi-finals of the Asian Cup. This is a good thing for Lingard because if they end up winning the Asian Cup, a lot of people are gonna start paying attention to football in South Korea.
If more people are paying attention to football in South Korea, the 31-year-old can capitalise on the opportunity and make a return to the Premier League. However, he will need to show that his skills are still up to the mark.
Lingard was regarded as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League during his time at Manchester United. He recorded 35 goals and 21 assists in 232 appearances for the club.
