Marcus Rashford and his lifestyle choices have worried Manchester United since 2021
Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford recently caught a lot of flak from fans and critics alike for his two-night tequila binge. The 26-year-old missed training after two days of partying and as a result, Erik ten Hag omitted Rashford from the squad.
There has also been some talk about how the Red Devils are not happy with the English forward’s conduct. According to The Sun (h\t The Daily Mail), Rashford’s drinking and partying lifestyle has been an issue for the Old Trafford management since 2021.
These issues could also be contributing to his recent drop in form. He has been unable to make much of an impact this season scoring just four goals with six assists in 26 appearances.
When you compare this to his stats last season, he was actually world-class scoring 30 goals with 11 assists in 56 appearances. While everyone expected him to be better, it seems like his lifestyle has got the better of him.
There was another incident this season when Manchester United lost the derby against Manchester City back in October. Shortly after the devastating loss, Rashford was spotted at a nightclub.
Clearly, the 26-year-old’s timing could not be worse. However, if it doesn’t improve along with his form then the entire fan base could end up turning against Rashford.

Marcus Rashford’s lifestyle choices are not fit for such a young athlete and could end up costing him dearly if he doesn’t work on his issues. Hopefully, he’ll have a chance to perform when Man United go up against the Wolves this weekend.
