Scott McTominay has opened up about Erik ten Hag’s training methods at Manchester United

Scott McTominay has opened up about how Erik ten Hag operates at Manchester United. The 27-year-old had some high praise for the Dutchman as he began to outline what he does for the club.

It does not come as a shock that the Dutchman runs a tight ship over at Old Trafford. He isn’t afraid to criticise his players and often doesn’t react well to his players criticizing him.

We’ve seen this before with Jadon Sancho. The 23-year-old had a public falling out with Erik ten Hag which resulted in him being excluded from the first team, and eventually being sent out on loan.

Erik ten Hag’s approach may be brilliant but his results are not.

While they do appear that way due to their fame, their performances on the pitch lately have left a lot to be desired. At this point of the season, the team isn’t even top four in the Premier League, let alone the entire world.

The team is currently sitting eighth on the Premier League table and needs 11 points to crack the top four. Europe may be out of reach for Manchester United this season.
