Manchester United could move Antony to Saudi in an attempt to cut losses
Manchester United paid a massive fee of £85m for the signature of Brazilian forward, Antony. Calling his stint with the Red Devils disappointing would be a massive understatement, to say the least.
The 23-year-old was in fine form before his switch to Old Trafford. While playing for Ajax, Antony recorded 24 goals and 22 assists through 82 appearances for the team.
However, it seems like all the talent left his body as soon as he arrived at Manchester United. In 66 appearances for the club, the 23-year-old has only scored eight times while recording three assists.
According to a report by The Standard (h\t Manchester Evening News), Manchester United are looking to offload both Jadon Sancho and Antony to Saudi clubs as they try to cut their losses ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Standard has also stated that Erik ten Hag has asked the 23-year-old to do better following talks regarding an exit from the club. The clock is ticking for the Brazilian winger.
The team has given enough chances to Antony and he has been unable to produce anything for them, recording no goals or assists through 22 appearances this season. Unacceptable numbers for someone who plays as a forward.

If Antony can help lead Manchester United back to the promised land, by being a key figure in their comeback efforts, he might just end up staying. However, the chances of that happening are very slim.
