Deco has just informed Manchester United that Barcelona superstar Ronald Araujo is not for sale to the team. This comes as a big blow for the Red Devils who were eyeing a move for the 24-year-old as they look to bolster their defence.
Erik ten Hag has long been suffering due to the poor defensive performance of his team. The situation has become so bad that Manchester United are now the only top-10 Premier League team with a negative goal difference.
Signing Ronald Araujo would have been a massive improvement for the Dutchman. However, it seems like all doors leading to Old Trafford have been closed for the Uruguayan defender.

Deco went on to say that there is nothing to talk about regarding Araujo. Moreover, he has made it clear that the only thing that matters at the moment is that the Uruguayan has been playing with heart and hunger.
It looks like Manchester United will have to look elsewhere if they wish to bolster their defensive line. This couldn’t have happened at a worse time since the Red Devils are also at risk of losing Raphael Varane at the end of the season.
