Manchester United are looking to bring in two Dutch forwards who are highly rated by Erik ten Hag
As reported by Sky Sports (h/t ESPN), Manchester United are looking to bring in two Dutch forwards for head coach Erik ten Hag. The players in question are, Joshua Zirkzee and Brian Brobbey.
Both strikers have enjoyed a rich vein of form this season. The Red Devils’ interest in Brobbey stems from Ten Hag as the pair have worked together during the Dutchman’s time at Ajax.
In 25 appearances this season Brian Brobbey has scored 13 goals and four assists for Ajax. These are amazing numbers and the Dutch striker is just 21-years-old with plenty of room to grow still.
Joshua Zirkzee is also a phenomenal talent and has been a key player for Bologna FC this season. Through 22 appearances, he has scored eight goals while also adding four assists.
Both of these players can score and have showcased an ability to get their teammates involved, two qualities that Manchester United have been in desperate need of this season.
Brobbey would make for an excellent pairing along with Rasmus Hojlund, the two could feed off each other, but a struggle for minutes could hinder development. Zirkzee is also an amazing talent but does Manchester United need all these young strikers on their team?
