Manchester United have brought in Omar Berrada over from their rivals Man City. Berrada has been appointed as the new CEO under Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s regime.

The club has also stated that his appointment as CEO is only the first step on their journey. People were expecting great things to come out of INEOS’ time at the helm, but now it looks like it has finally begun.

This also means that Erik ten Hag will have a lot of pressure taken off his shoulders due to Berrada’s appointment. The Dutchman can now drop the other duties he has been doing and focus on playing football.

Berrada’s time at the helm of Manchester City has proved to be extremely fruitful for Pep Guardiola and the team. The club has won the Premier League for the past three years, along with a treble last season.

Fans will be more than happy if Berrada’s time at Manchester United helps Erik ten Hag and the team achieve even 50% of the results that Man City have over the last four years.

Omar Berrada will probably take full control over his duties at the club by the time Manchester United play their next game. The Red Devils will be taking on Newport County this Sunday for the fourth round of the FA Cup.
