Struggling Manchester United winger is keen on a move to La Liga confirms Fabrizio Romano

Manchester United’s Facundo Pellistri is now keen on a move to La Liga side Granada CF. As confirmed by Fabrizio Romano via X, He was previously wanted by PSV Eindhoven and LA Galaxy but is now keen on going to Spain.

Talks between the Red Devils and Granada have already begun and the Uruguayan will soon leave the club on a loan deal. Pellistri’s time at Manchester United has not been fortunate.

The 22-year-old has already completed two loan spells at Alaves and has still struggled to get any playing time under Erik ten Hag. It must be frustrating for him to be going out on loan again without getting any big opportunities at Old Trafford.

While no one can deny that Pellistri has the potential to grow his recent performances have left a lot to be desired. Through 35 appearances for Alaves, the 22-year-old didn’t manage to score or assist even once.

That kind of output is not ideal for someone who primarily plays as a forward. While people may question Ten Hag for not playing the Uruguayan, it cannot be denied that Pellistri hasn’t made much of a case for himself.

With a loan to La Liga on the horizon, the Manchester United winger must do all he can to adjust to the competition. If not, his time in the big leagues might come to an end sooner than expected.
