Manchester United are keen to hold on to attacking star despite interest from Middlesbrough
According to The Daily Mail, Manchester United are not willing to negotiate for £37m star, Amad Diallo despite interest from Middlesbrough. The 21-year-old is highly rated at Old Trafford.
Diallo has been off to a slow start with the Red Devils due to injuries and previous loan spells that have kept him away from the action. However, the club doesn’t doubt his talent and probably have plans to use him since they are unwilling to make a deal.
The Ivorian star was highly impressive during his time at Sunderland, through 42 appearances for the team he recorded 14 goals and four assists for the team, and even led them to a play-off spot.
Diallo has also reportedly been impressive in training. It is just a matter of time before Erik ten Hag realises that playing the 21-year-old over Antony will be much better for the team.
He will also be an excellent option behind Alejandro Garnacho, who is another young star who has been highly impressive this season. Manchester United have a lot of young talent on the team and just needs to figure out their rotations properly.
The more minutes that these young players get, the better it’ll be for their development with the team. Now that Diallo has returned from injury we can expect his minutes to go up.
