Bundesliga Club’s manager sheds light on transfer negotiations for 23-year-old Manchester United outcast
For the past few days, Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho has been heavily linked to a move to his former Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. Both teams have been working towards a loan deal for the 23-year-old outcast.
Borussia Dortmund’s CEO himself has confirmed that the team is looking to bring the young man in. However, he says that they are not ready to announce a done deal at this moment.
There has been some back and forth between Manchester United and the Bundesliga side. Both teams are looking to get the deal done but have been unable to get on the same page about the terms.
Previously it was reported that the Red Devils declined a £3m bid from Borussia Dortmund. It looks like the Old Trafford squad is trying to make some money from the loan.
They have been trying to generate funds that they hope to use to acquire new players. However, this does not mean that Manchester United will be making any big signings in January.
Once a deal for Sancho is completed the team will probably look to get a loan deal done for an attacker as they wish to strengthen their failing attack. But, not all hope is lost for an outright sale as the team has also reportedly been moving on Giorgio Scalvini.
