Manchester United star will no longer be participating in the AFCON as a loan deal could be in the works
Manchester United’s Hannibal Mejbri is no longer heading to the AFCON. The Tunisian national may soon go out on loan as reported by Fabrizio Romano. The Tunisian coach says that the player doesn’t feel ready to be at AFCON yet.
the 20-year-old midfielder has not been getting a lot of playing time under Erik Ten Hag. He has shown immense potential in the past and could grow to be a superstar in the future. Something that every Manchester United fan wants to see.
Romano has now reported that several teams are interested in the young star. All of the player’s suitors want him to be available during the months of January and February which is why he will not be heading to the AFCON.
Fans have always held the view that playing Mejbri could go a long way towards helping the team’s creative woes. Although, Erik Ten Hag doesn’t seem to share this view.
More often than not we see the player getting garbage time minutes. He was excellent when he got a real chance to play against Brighton and even scored a goal for the team (fot.mob).
A change of scenery could help the player develop a lot more. A rejuvenated Hannibal Mejbri is more than likely to help Manchester United’s poor attacking line.
