Erik ten Hag sheds light on Manchester United’s plans for January following claims made by David Ornstein
Following the claims made by David Ornstein, Erik ten Hag has shed some light on Manchester United’s transfer plans for next month. Ornstein claims the team is looking for a striker and a right centre-back.
Despite the pundit’s claims, Ten Hag believes that his current squad is good and their campaign has suffered from injury struggles. This might not sound exciting to fans looking forward to the transfer window.
He says Casemiro, Lisadro Martinez, and Mason Mount will be making a comeback in January. This could also mean that the team has reconsidered their decision to offload Casemiro next month.

Erik ten Hag reveals Manchester United's January transfer plans in new interview, fans won't be impressed 😬 pic.twitter.com/exUytcySQp
Fans were hoping to see the likes of Radu Dragusin at Old Trafford next season. So Ten Hag’s words will come as bad news for those who were hopeful for an exciting January.
Let’s have a look at what the Dutchman had to say. (h/t Manchester Evening News)
“The current squad, I am happy. As we get our players back, we have a good squad. I think a lot of our… the way it went, the reasons behind… many players not available.”
“When players are back – Casemiro will be back, Martinez will be back, Mason Mount will be back – we will be much stronger after the window.”
From the looks of it all the talk regarding Manchester United’s busy transfer window was just talk after all. However, if we don’t see the team perform before they close out the year, Old Trafford’s plans might change.
It has now become a waiting game for Manchester United. They will be testing how far they can go before their superstars return from injury.
