Fabrizio Romano drops a bomb on social media revealing transfer details of Manchester United midfielder who is on his way to Frankfurt
Sports Journalist Fabrizio Romano has just dropped a bomb through social media platform X. Donny Van De Beek could soon be on his way to Eintracht Frankfurt as the team has now reached a verbal agreement with Manchester United, reported Romano.
The Dutch midfielder was reportedly unhappy with his playing time at Manchester United. Moreover, Ten Hag gave Donny the green light to leave.
He previously made it clear that he would not stand in the way should the 26-year-old choose to leave.
Well, it looks like Van De Beek took the Dutchman’s words to heart and will soon be taking the field in a Frankfurt shirt.
However, fans should not be getting too excited since the two teams have only just reached a verbal agreement. Moreover, if the deal does go through it will reportedly only be a loan until June.
There have been mentions of a buy option being included for a potential €15m. But, whether or not Frankfurt end up buying the Van De Beek will depend on his performance.
Van De Beek has the potential to be a solid playmaker for any team as long as he gets the proper minutes and can stay healthy. Ten Hag will be wishing the former Ajax player the best of luck as the two of them go their separate ways again.
Van De Beek’s stint with the Red Devils has left a lot to be desired. Hopefully, the 26-year-old will find a second life as he moves away from the club in January.
