Manchester United now show genuine interest in the French defender Sacha Boey
According to the Spanish media Fichajes, Manchester United are interested in Sacha Boey of Galatasaray and the reports claim that United have sent scouts to monitor the player.
Manchester United are severely suffering from injuries, especially in the full-back positions. Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw, the two left-backs—are all absent. Aaron Wan-Bissaka is another victim over on the right side. However, Sergio Reguilon did feature in our triumphant night against FC Copenhagen.
Since the present group of alternatives in that part of the field is inconsistent, Erik ten Hag seems to already consider upgrading in the wing-back positions. Boey’s current contract expires in 2025, so if he doesn’t agree to new terms before then, he may be available for a very fair price next summer.
Boey would be a fantastic addition in terms of stylistic match. In addition to being a superb defender and a tireless worker on both ends of the pitch, he has the ability to influence the game in the final third of the pitch.
The young Frenchman, who is gaining a lot of attention in the Turkish Super Lig, is obviously going to face fierce competition for a contract. This season, the right-back has been a mainstay for Okan Buruk’s team, starting each of Galatasaray’s 18 competitive games.
If he were to replace someone at United, it could be Diogo Dalot. Although Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s skill set isn’t ideal for the current system, he is, in our opinion, a better all-round player.

It’s unclear where things will go from here given Boey’s skill. But t=it would be great if he decides to play for Manchester United instead of any other team in Europe. Most importantly, he would offer depth to our squad, which is something we now lack.
