Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho might never get a chance to represent the club
According to the Mirror, Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho and his relationship with the manager Erik ten Hag is beyond repair and there’s a possibility of him leaving in the upcoming transfer window.
Sancho has been benched for United’s last nine games, including the one against Sheffield United, after accusing Ten Hag on social media of lying when the Reds’ manager revealed he had omitted the England international due to a training issue. The former forward for Borussia Dortmund has been barred by Ten Hag from the first-team locker room until he issues a public apology.
Both Juventus and Dortmund would like to loan Sancho until the conclusion of the current campaign, but United would have to pay a portion of the player’s high £250,000 weekly wage.
Despite Ten Hag’s rejection of him joining his team, Sancho still has more than three and a half years left on his contract and is still being paid. The matter has evolved into a crucial litmus test for Ten Hag’s authority.
Even though saying sorry would instantly make everything different, Sancho doesn’t seem willing to apologise. It’s arguable if that is a result of him being obstinate or if he is just holding on to his convictions.
Ten Hag’s choices are limited because Mason Greenwood was sent out on loan and Amad Diallo is injured. Without a doubt, Sancho’s actions have strained his bonds with the team’s supporters. Rather than hoping that the team would suffer for his benefit, it would be better for the player and the club if he left. Though it would be bad for his career, Sancho might choose to stay at United.
