Jose Mourinho wants Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho at AS Roma
Jadon Sancho is apparently linked with a move to AS Roma, with Jose Mourinho apparently looking to sign him from Manchester United, as per Il Romanista. He joined Manchester United under Ole Gunnar Solskjær season for a whopping amount of £73m to help them bolster their attack.
Mission accomplished for the United hierarchy when it all eventually materialized in July 2021 following a phenomenal four-year stint at Borussia Dortmund (50 goals, 64 assists, and 22 England caps by the age of 21).
Ten Hag and Sancho’s disagreements came to the point where the manager felt obligated to leave the winger at home in the 3-1 loss against Arsenal in the Premier League due to his subpar performance in practice.

Despite his protestations to the contrary, there has been a sense that Sancho is just not upholding the standards set by his boss during either training or games. His meager output at United, 12 goals and 6 assists over more than two seasons is dwarfed by those figures from Dortmund, which propelled him to prominence.
AS Roma currently sit 13th in the Serie A table and it seems they need a winger to help them score more goals. Jose Mourinho can provide a lifeline to our winger and help him revive this difficult time at the club.
Sancho is a player who needs more playing time, and moving to Roma may give him the confidence boost he needs. Only until a player is fully committed can they compete in the Premier League. It will be quite difficult for any player to hold onto their spot given United’s current standing, which is ninth in the league.

Every player must perform at their highest level during this period to help the team score goals and earn the crucial three points.

As for Sancho, a move to Roma could be a good move to rekindle his career, under another world-class manager. Perhaps the Red Devils should think about a loan move with a heavy option/obligation to buy. That way, it would be a win-win situation for us.
