Fiorentina willing to let Manchester United target Sofyan Amrabat leave on loan this summer
Serie A outfit Fiorentina are open to letting Manchester United target Sofyan Amrabat leave on loan in the ongoing transfer window, according to Corriere dello Sport (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Red Devils are looking to acquire the midfielder’s services this summer. However, to that end, the Old Trafford side are yet to make a formal approach to get a hold of his signature.
As things stand, Financial Fair Play (FFP) is a concern for United. But the Viola and the Morocco international are willing to facilitate a temporary switch to the Red Devils. Although, the Italian outfit would want an option to buy included in a potential deal.
In the ongoing transfer window, the Red Devils have already made a number of additions to the team. The first signing of the summer was Mason Mount from Chelsea. The English national was brought to add more quality and depth to the Old Trafford side’s engine room.
Subsequently, United got Andre Onana from Inter Milan. The Cameroonian has replaced David de Gea in between the sticks as the number one at the Manchester-based club.
The Red Devils have also bolstered the front line with Rasmus Hojlund. The Denmark international made his way to the Old Trafford side from Atalanta.
In terms of outgoings, United have been unable to raise a lot of funds. The likes of Anthony Elanaga, Alex Telles and Fred have parted ways with the Red Devils recently.
In the middle of the park, the Old Trafford side could arguably do with another number six. Casemiro has had to shoulder the burden in the engine room under Erik ten Hag. Scott McTominay has proven to be inconsistent at the club.
