Thomas Tuchel open to selling Bayern Munich midfielder and Manchester United target Ryan Gravenberch
Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel is open to parting ways with Manchester United target Ryan Gravenberch this summer, according to The Athletic.
The German manager has given indications that he would be willing to sell the midfielder on the ongoing transfer window. On the other hand, the Holland international is also receptive to leaving the Bavarians in the coming weeks.
As things stand, the former Chelsea head coach does not seem to fancy the 21-year-old. He has been left on the bench in the Bundesliga giants’ opening two games of the new season.
Tuchel is hoping to cash in on Gravenberch and use those funds to sign a specialist number six. However, the hierarchy at Bayern want to keep a hold of the Holland national until January and feel the German manager already has a defensive midfielder in his ranks in Konrad Laimer.
United are one of the Premier League outfits that have Gravenberch on their radar, as per the Mirror. Liverpool are also interested in the youngster.
The midfielder made his way through the youth ranks at Ajax Amsterdam when Erik ten Hag was still in charge of the Eredivisie outfit. Then, last summer, the Holland national opted to join the Allianz Arena side. However, game time has been hard to come by for him at the Bavarians.
At United, the middle of the park struggled to cope with the opposition in the first two games of the campaign. Wolverhampton Wanderers gave us a number of issues in the midfield. But we managed to get a victory.
Unfortunately, Tottenham Hotspur punished us. The North London side were at home and beat the Red Devils 2-0, as Casemiro, Mason Mount and Bruno Fernandes cut frustrated figures.

Gravenberch is a promising talent. However, getting regular game time at the Old Trafford side seems like a tough task as well. Therefore, whether the Holland national will opt to join the Manchester-based club remains to be seen.
