Juventus are interested in Manchester United target and Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (h/t The Express), Juventus are trying to hijack a deal for Manchester United target Sofyan Amrabat. But one thing in the Red Devils’ favour is that the Old Lady are struggling to meet the £26million asking price.
Amrabat has been top of United’s list to reinvigorate the midfield but the signing has depended on the club’s outgoings before a formal approach can be made.
United recently confirmed Fred’s transfer to Fenerbahce while Donny Van de Beek is also in discussion with Real Sociedad over a possible move that would free up the space for the club to make a move for United.
However, from the recent claims, it seems like United would have to act faster than anticipated with Juventus keen to add the Moroccan to their ranks
Juventus are looking to add a midfielder to their ranks after Denis Zakaria has switched to Monaco and the Italian outfit are keen to recruit a replacement and sees Amrabat as the ideal fit.
The signing of Amrabat to United was always dependent on the club’s outgoings and now that it is starting to occur, we could see the club making a formal offer in the coming days.
Amrabat is also keen on a move to United and working for a manager who he knows pretty well from time spent together at FC Utrecht in the Netherlands.
However, the player is generating interest and we should not wait for too long to get the deal done as it could derail our chances of signing the talented midfielder.
Amrabat is suited perfectly to the profile that Erik Ten Hag and United need right now and with the low fee that he is available on, it is a no-brainer for the club to get his deal over the line.
