Barcelona prepare a deal to re-sign young Manchester United fullback Marc Jurado

As per Que T’hi Jugues, via the Hard Tackle (h/t Manchester Evening News), Spanish giants Barcelona are preparing a deal to re-sign young Manchester United fullback Marc Jurado.

Jurado was a youth player at Barcelona between 2019 and 2020 before moving to the United youth side in September 2020.

The 19-year-old has made 84 appearances for various youth sides here, scoring four goals and assisting nine while operating as a fullback, predominantly a right-back (Transfermarkt).

The Spain U19 international is a quick fullback who has no issues in making runs up and down the field. He is good at dribbling in the final third, can pass the ball well and is decent at defensive reading of the game.

If Barcelona want him back, United should not stand in the way. The Red Devils have enough options at right-back moving forward.

Erik ten Hag and United are closing in on a move for Andre Onana. The former Ajax stopper would most likely take up the number one slot in the team after the departure of David de Gea.

This team also needs a clinical number nine. Does the club possess the necessary funds to sign one and help the manager ahead of the start of the next season? It might depend on the sales.

United are in the race for Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund. It remains to be seen how much the Red Devils can bid for the Dane in the coming days.

Coming back to Jurado, it won’t be a bad option for him to go back to his native country and potentially start playing for the Barcelona senior team soon. He has the talent to become very good in the coming years. We wish him all the best there!
