French champions PSG enquire about Manchester United target Rasmus Hojlund
As per a tweet from Fabrizio Romano, French giants PSG are enquiring about the availability of Manchester United target Rasmus Hojlund.
It is also revealed that the Atalanta striker remains top on the shortlist for United as they aim to sign a striker this summer.
Personal terms aren’t an issue for the Red Devils as the player is keen on a move to Old Trafford. A few days ago, it was stated he would put in a transfer request to push this deal into overdrive mode.
Whenever a club like PSG comes into the picture in a transfer race for a player, it sounds like a massive warning bell.
We know how wealthy their owners are. They can literally pay anything and anyone to make a deal happen if they think Hojlund needs to be signed.
Although, as per Romano’s tweet, signing a goalkeeper is United’s priority right now, they cannot leave the Hojlund deal behind for too long.
Erik ten Hag could do with an addition in the centre-forward department to take the team forward next season. The reliance on an inconsistent Anthony Martial has to end now.
United have already withdrawn from signing England captain Harry Kane as his move would have cost a lot of money to them. Plus, doing a deal with Tottenham’s Daniel Levy is a pain.
Hojlund had a decent season at Atalanta last time around and he has been very good for Denmark. He has the pace, the finishing prowess and physicality to do well in a United shirt.

The 20-year-old could become United’s number nine for several years to come. He would have an ideal coach in ten Hag here to develop his game to the next level. PSG’s interest should be taken seriously as they could be on the lookout for Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe’s potential replacements this summer.
