Harry Kane told to put in Tottenham Hotspur transfer request to realise Manchester United move
Manchester United have told Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane to put in a transfer request to make a move to the Old Trafford side a reality, according to The US Sun.
The Red Devils have grown frustrated in their pursuit of the England international. As a result, the upper management at the club is ready to walk away from a deal for the striker due to Daniel Levy.
United have faced difficulties dealing with Spurs’ chairman for the 29-year-old. The Red Devils have been told that the forward is not for sale in the ongoing transfer window.
At the moment, Kane is set to enter the final year of his current contract at Tottenham. The 29-year-old is valued at around £80 million by the Old Trafford side. However, the North London side want £100 million for him.
To that end, the Manchester-based club want the English skipper to make his intentions clear with a transfer request or a public statement to realise his move to the Theatre of Dreams.
Kane is one of the best goalscorers in the world at the moment. The England international is a proven Premier League striker with vast experience.
United evidently need someone like the 29-year-old in their squad. Up front, Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst were unable to cut it in the previous campaign.
The French national was on the sidelines for most of the previous campaign. On the other hand, the Burnley loanee left a lot to be desired with his contribution in the final third when he featured.

However, it is wise for the Old Trafford side to have Kane do something on his end to get things moving. If the English skipper is reluctant to go public, then we evidently need to focus on other targets.
