PSG superstar Neymar decides to stay amidst Manchester United interest
Manchester United target Neymar has decided to stay at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the ongoing transfer window, according to L’Equipe (h/t Mirror).
The Brazil international has been linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes side this summer. To that end, the Red Devils have been tipped to acquire the services of the forward.
However, that is no longer the case, as the 31-year-old no longer wants to part ways with the Parisians. Instead, he is looking forward to reuniting with former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique at the Ligue 1 outfit.
The Spaniard is set to be appointed PSG’s dugout soon. As things stand, the Parisians are in advanced talks to hand the 53-year-old the reins at the Parc des Prince side.
Thus, Neymar has changed his mind regarding an exit from the Parisians. Rather, the forward is focused on getting back stronger after his injury. Enrique managed the Brazilian for three years at the Blaugrana, winning the treble in the 2014/15 season.
The 31-year-old has had a mixed spell so far at PSG. Fitness issues have hampered him year after year. It remains to be seen what the former Spain head coach’s arrival will mean for the French outfit.
As for United, Erik ten Hag did an impressive job in his first year at the club. The Dutch manager got us the Carabao Cup, led us to the FA Cup final and guided us to a third-place finish in the Premier League.
However, the gaffer had to rely on Marcus Rashford to find the back of the net on a consistent basis. Apart from the English national, none of our other forwards were able to make a big enough impact last season.

Neymar is one of the best players in the world. However, his age and fitness issues make the Brazilian somewhat of a risk. With Enrique making his way to PSG, it is understandable that the 31-year-old wants to continue in France.
