Burnley interested in Manchester United forward Amad Diallo loan move
Manchester United star Amad Diallo is attracting interest from recently promoted Burnley, who want him on loan in the ongoing transfer window, according to 90min (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Ivory Coast international is set to join the Red Devils’ senior squad for pre-season. However, there is a possibility that the 20-year-old could make a temporary move once again this summer.
As things stand, there is plenty of interest in the forward in the English top flight. Apart from the Clarets, Fulham, West Ham United and Everton have him on their radar.
Man United signed Amad in January 2021 from Atalanta. Initially, the winger was handed a few opportunities in the Red Devil’s first team. However, after failing to get regular opportunities at the Old Trafford side, the youngster joined Rangers on loan for the second half of the 2021/22 campaign.
Unfortunately, things did not go to plan for the Ivorian in Scotland. Then last summer, Sunderland came knocking to acquire the 20-year-old’s services on a temporary move.
Amad thrived at the Black Cats. Tony Mowbray relied heavily on the forward in the Stadium of Light side’s starting lineup. The Ivorian made 42 appearances in all competitions for the Championship outfit, scoring 14 goals and providing four assists.
At Man United, we have already seen Alejandro Garnacho breaking into the first team. The Argentine, who recently made his debut for the national side against Australia in a 2-0 friendly win, has become a key player for Erik ten Hag.
In the previous campaign, the 18-year-old made some impressive cameos off the bench and had some clutch moments. The Dutch manager has built a pedigree over the years of developing young talents.

Amad has showcased a lot of potential. However, if the gaffer does not have the 20-year-old in his plans for now, then a loan move to Burnley, who are playing some exciting football under Vincent Kompany, seems like a wise option.
