Bayern Munich to be snubbed by Manchester United target and West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice
West Ham United captain Declan Rice is set to snub a move to Bayern Munich amidst interest from Manchester United, according to the Daily Mail (h/t The Sun).
The England international is expected to part ways with the Hammers in the upcoming transfer window. However, the midfielder has ruled out a switch to the Bundesliga giants.
David Moyes’ team are set to demand at least £100 million for the 24-year-old. Apart from being a target for the Red Devils, he is also on the radar of Premier League rivals Arsenal.
As things stand, Rice is not looking to leave the English top flight. Thus, he is prepared to reject Bayern’s proposal, despite Thomas Tuchel being keen on him. The midfielder is settled in London and the Gunners are set to make their opening bid for him.
The England international was in Chelsea and West Ham’s academy before breaking into the Irons’ first team. Over the years, the 24-year-old has developed into one of the best enforcers in the middle of the park.
Moyes’ team are set to take on Fiorentina in the UEFA Europa Conference League final. It will be interesting to see whether Rice is able to lift a trophy in what could be his final game for the Hammers.

Bayern have Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka and Ryan Gravenberch in their ranks. They are also set to acquire the services of Konrad Laimer from RB Leipzig.
As for Man United, we have Casemiro in our ranks. The Brazil international has become a pivotal player for the Red Devils under Erik ten Hag. Alongside Christian Eriksen, the former Real Madrid star has been preferred by the gaffer in the double pivot.

Considering the 31-year-old’s influence in the team, it seems difficult for even a player like Rice to dethrone him from the starting lineup. The West Ham captain evidently has enough quality to be a starter in most top teams. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether he will move to the Old Trafford side.
