Atalanta want €60 million for Manchester United target Rasmus Hojlund
Manchester United will have to pay €60 million to Atalanta to acquire the services of Rasmus Hojlund next summer, according to Football Insider (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Bergamo-based club have set their price tag to part ways with the Denmark international in the upcoming transfer window. La Dea are looking to make a quick profit on the striker, having signed him for £15 million last summer.
To that end, the Red Devils are interested in getting hold of the 20-year-old’s signature. However, it will be interesting to see whether the Old Trafford side will match the Serie A outfit’s valuation for the youngster.

Hojlund joined Atalanta from Sturm Graz. The Danish national made a place in Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans in his debut season at the Italian side.
The striker has done well so far at the Bergamo-based club and has caught a lot of people’s attention. In the current campaign, he has made 33 appearances in all competitions for La Dea, scoring nine goals and providing four assists.
As things stand, Marcus Rashford has been our only prolific goalscorer since Erik ten Hag’s arrival. The 25-year-old has shouldered the burden of United’s attack over the last few months.

Unfortunately, apart from the England international, none of our forwards has been able to get on the scoresheet on a consistent basis. Up front, Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst have been the only natural strikers at the gaffer’s disposal since January.
Unfortunately, injuries have marred the French national’s season. On the other hand, the Burnley loanee has been nothing special at the Old Trafford side, either.

Therefore, apart from a new number nine, we could also evidently need some cover in the front line. Thus, while Hojlund is not the finished article yet, Ten Hag has the pedigree of building young talents and the Danish national is a brilliant second-choice number nine to have in the squad.
