Real Madrid join Manchester United in race for Bayer Leverkusen forward Moussa Diaby
Spanish giants Real Madrid have joined Manchester United in the race for Bayer Leverkusen star Moussa Diaby, according to Fichajes.
Los Blancos have started planning for the upcoming transfer window and are eyeing the France international as a possible addition to reinforce the left wing. The La Liga outfit have the 23-year-old on their radar.
To that end, the Santiago Bernabeu side are considering making an offer for Diaby in the upcoming transfer window. However, the Red Devils, as well as Paris Saint-Germain, are also eyeing the winger.
But it is unlikely that the Bundesliga outfit will let one of their most promising forwards leave for cheap. The Bay Arena side could ask for a considerable fee to part ways with the French national.
The 23-year-old signed for the German team in the summer of 2019 from PSG. He is currently playing under the management of former Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso.
At the moment, Los Blancos have Vinicius Junior in their ranks. The Brazil international has come into his own since last season and has become one of the best in the world. But Carlo Ancelotti’s team seem to lack a lot of options on the bench.
As for United, Marcus Rashford has dominated the left-hand side of our attack. The England international is the Red Devils’ top goalscorer in the current campaign.
Apart from the 25-year-old, Erik ten Hag has also called upon Jado Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho. The Argentine youngster has broken onto the scene at the Old Trafford side under the former Ajax head coach.
