Real Madrid ‘willing’ to pay €100 million for Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho
Spanish giants Real Madrid are ‘willing’ to pay €100 million to Manchester United for youngster Alejandro Garnacho, according to Defensa Central via ElDesmarque (h/t Fichajes).
Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is an admirer of the 18-year-old. The La Liga outfit’s interest looks serious as they are looking to pay the Argentine’s release clause.
But the Red Devils have no intention of parting ways with the forward. He recently signed a new contract at the Old Trafford side that will keep him at the club until June 2028. However, the Santiago Bernabeu outfit are prepared to wait to get a hold of the winger.
Garnacho made his way to United in the summer of 2020 from Atletico Madrid. After impressing in the Red Devils’ youth sides, the youngster has now established himself in the first team.
Initially, Erik ten Hag seemed to lack faith in the 18-year-old. However, since scoring his first goal for the Old Trafford side against Real Sociedad in the Europa League group stages, the Argentine has made a place for himself in the gaffer’s plans.
The forward has mostly come off the bench but has made a considerable impact whenever he has been called upon. Unfortunately, the winger has been on the sidelines for the last few weeks.
Marcus Rashford has been United’s leading attacker on the left wing this season. The England international has cemented his place in the position. We also have Jadon Sancho in our ranks.
Garnacho has come through for us in some clutch moments. He has made 29 appearances for the Red Devils in the current campaign, scoring four goals and providing five assists.
