Arsenal and Liverpool join Manchester United in race for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Sangare

Premier League rivals Arsenal and Liverpool have joined Manchester United in the race for PSV Eindhoven star Ibrahim Sangare, according to 90min (h/t Express).

The Red Devils are considering reigniting their interest in the Ivory Coast international. To that end, the Red Devils had sent scouts to watch the 25-year-old in action last weekend.

However, the Gunners and the Anfield side are also monitoring Sangare. The midfielder has popped up on the radar of a number of teams. And the 25-year-old is keen on making a move to the English top flight.

In the summer of 2022, the Ivory Coast international signed a new contract with the Eredivisie outfit. However, his current deal includes a £32.7 million release clause.

Arsenal have stumbled a bit in the PL recently. They are first in the league. Although, Manchester City are on their tails. Mikel Arteta has trusted the midfield pairing of Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka this season. But they seem to lack depth in the area.

On the other hand, Jurgen Klopp’s team want to add numbers in the middle of the park as well. The Merseysiders have struggled in the current campaign. They want to add three new players to the engine room in the summer.

As for United, we signed Casemiro last summer. The former Real Madrid star has added much-needed quality to the Red Devils’ engine room.

However, in his absence, the Old Trafford side have not been at their best. The Brazil international is backed up by Scott McTominay and Fred in the squad. However, the two have been inconsistent over the years.

Therefore, we could seemingly do with an understudy for Casemiro in the squad. But with Arsenal and Liverpool in the mix, it remains to be seen whether United will get a hold of Sangare.
