Transfer News: PSG to transfer-list Manchester United target Hugo Ekitike
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are considering selling Manchester United transfer target Hugo Ekitike this summer, as per G3.Football.
He has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Man United, Newcastle United and Inter Milan. Ekitike apparently rejected an offer from Newcastle United last summer to join PSG.
He signed an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy at the end of the season. PSG would be forced to meet the price mentioned in his contract. Football fans can visit bet365投注 to view the latest bet bonuses before placing their bets on the possible move of Ekitike this summer.
But they are believed to be eager to cash in on him this summer itself. The 20-year-old hasn’t made the best impression at the Parc des Princes.
What next for Ekitike?
He has scored just four times in 27 games across competitions for Les Parisiens. With Lionel Messi’s future at PSG uncertain and Neymar Jr.’s injury issues rendering him useless for a major chunk of the second half of this season, Les Parisiens could want to invest more properly in a proven centre-forward.
Ekitike is a rising star but he isn’t quite there yet. Manchester United should take a chance on him but only if more accomplished, proven goal-getters are unattainable.
We will surely target a new centre-forward in the near future after seeing Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani leave last year while Mason Greenwood continues to be suspended.
Moreover, Wout Weghorst’s loan deal expires this summer. If PSG are eager to sell Ekitike, then hopefully Manchester United can get a good price on him.
