Juventus will consider €80–90 million for Federico Chiesa amidst Manchester United interest
Serie A giants Juventus will only consider at least an offer of €80–90 million for Federico Chiesa amidst interest from Manchester United, according to Italian outlet Calciomercatoweb.
The Old Lady have no intention of parting ways with one of their main players. However, if a sizable sum arrives for the Italy international, the Bianconeri will contemplate the forward’s sale.
Apart from the Red Devils, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich could also be in the running to acquire the 25-year-old’s services. During Thomas Tuchel’s stint at Chelsea, the German head coach was eyeing the winger.
Therefore, competition will seemingly be high for Chiesa. In the previous transfer window, United had made a move to get a hold of the Italy international.
The forward moved to Juventus in the summer of 2020 from Fiorentina. Over the years, the 25-year-old has caught a lot of people’s attention with some electric displays. However, last year in January, the winger suffered a serious injury and he has only returned to action recently.
In the current campaigns, small fitness issues have continued to niggle Chiesa. He has made only 18 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing four assists.
United have Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho firing on the left-hand side of the attack at the moment. The England international has especially thrived since the arrival of Erik ten Hag.
However, the Red Devils lack options in the number nine position. Anthony Martial has been on the sidelines for most of the season. On the other hand, loan-signing Wout Weghorst has not pulled up any trees in the last few weeks.

Therefore, instead of a winger like Chiesa, it would be wise for the Old Trafford side to add a natural striker to the squad. The Italy international has shown immense potential in the past. However, it remains to be seen how the 25-year-old goes about his business after the long period out injured.
