La Liga giants Real Madrid have made a £123 million transfer offer for Borussia Dortmund midfielder and Manchester United target Jude Bellingham, according to Sport (h/t The Sun).

Los Blancos are highly interested in acquiring the 19-year-old’s services. To that end, the Spanish outfit have made their first attempt to sign the England international from the Signal Iduna Park side.

The Santiago Bernabeu Stadium side have presented an £88 million deal up front plus add-ons. But while the midfielder was initially attracted towards Carlo Ancelotti’s team, packages from the Premier League are attracting him.

In the English top flight, a number of clubs, apart from the Red Devils, are eyeing Bellingham. Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea also have the youngster on their radar.

But Madrid believe the ‘matter can be resolved’ in the upcoming international break. The 19-year-old is Los Blancos’ top target. Ancelotti has the likes of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos at his disposal. However, the two veteran midfielders are expected to leave at the end of the season.

The England international moved to Dortmund in the summer of 2020 from Birmingham City. Over the years, the midfielder has developed into a quality star.

In the current campaign, Bellingham has taken his game to the next level at BVB. The 19-year-old also shone for the Three Lions in the 2022 World Cup and started in every fixture for the Three Lions in Qatar.

United’s engine room was reinforced last summer with the addition of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen. However, we were seemingly forced to sign Marcel Sabitzer on loan on deadline day in January to bolster the middle of the park.

Therefore, the Red Devils could evidently do with more quality in depth in the engine room. However, it remains to be seen whether the Old Trafford side will match the offer Madrid have made for Bellingham.
