Manchester United summer target Adrien Rabiot ‘put up for sale’ by Juventus
Manchester United summer 2022 target Adrien Rabiot, along with four other stars, have been ‘put up for sale’ by Juventus, according to Gazzetta dello Sport via Football Italia (h/t Mirror).
Along with the France international, the Old Lady are open to parting ways with Angel Di Maria, Leandro Paredes, Alex Sandro and Juan Cuadrado.
The 27-year-old came close to joining the Red Devils last summer. We were in negotiations to bring the midfielder to Manchester. However, in the end, a deal did not materialise.
Juventus are looking to cut costs by £62.5 million for next season. As a result, a fire sale is expected from the Turin-based club in the coming months.
Rabiot made his way to the Bianconeri in the summer of 2019 after leaving Paris Saint-Germain. In Italy, the France international has enjoyed a mixed spell.
However, in the current campaign, the 27-year-old has been one of their best players, even though the Serie A giants are struggling. In 23 appearances in all competitions for the Old Lady, he has found the back of the net five times and has provided two assists.
Rabiot was also a key player for France in the 2022 World Cup. The 27-year-old was one of Didier Deschamps’ go-to midfielders as Les Belus made it to the final. They lost to Argentina in the penalty shootout.
United ended up signing Casemiro last summer. The Brazilian, along with Christian Eriksen, has been an ever-present in Erik ten Hag’s plans this season.

The Red Devils signed Marcel Sabitzer on loan in January to bolster the midfield ranks. In the summer, if the Old Trafford side have the opportunity, a move for Rabiot would not be a bad option to add strength in depth to the engine room.
