The defender’s current contract with Die Adler expires at the end of the season. A renewal with the Bundesliga outfit is unlikely. Therefore, the 23-year-old will be a free agent next summer.

The 23-year-old moved to Frankfurt in the summer of 2018 from AJ Auxerre. He has developed into a fine player at the Bundesliga outfit over the years.
In the previous campaign, the centre-back was a key player for Oliver Glasner’s team. Die Adler ended up lifting the Europa League title. They have continued their fine form this term.

Marseille had Duje Ćaleta-Car and William Saliba in their backline last season. With their departure, the French outfit now have the likes of Chancel Mbemba, Samuel Gigot and Leonardo Balerdi at their disposal. They also signed Eric Bailly from United in the summer of 2022.
As for the Red Devils, Erik ten Hag has put faith in Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez in the current campaign. As a result, Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof have been bit-part players in Manchester.
