Owen Hargreaves lavishes praise on Manchester United sensation Alejandro Garnacho

Speaking in an interview with BT Sport as quoted by Manchester Evening News, former Manchester United player Owen Hargreaves was full of praise for Argentinian wonderkid Alejandro Garnacho for his performances in recent games.

Garnacho was given a chance to impress by Erik ten Hag as he started the talented Argentinian in a couple of Europa League games and it is safe to say that the teenager did not disappoint. He managed to score his first-ever senior goal and was superb for the Red Devils.

The former Atletico Madrid youth star has been very highly rated ever since his move to Man United and it looks like he is finally getting a chance to show what he is capable of in the first team. To his credit, the 18-year-old is taking it with both hands.

It was rather fitting that his first-ever senior goal was assisted by his idol Cristiano Ronaldo and Garnacho could not have been happier. The Argentinian will now be hoping to get a regular run in the Premier League as well.

The teenage sensation could play some part in Man United’s clash against Aston Villa today and he will be hoping to continue his good form. If he can put in yet another impressive performance, the Dutch coach will be very happy.

Speaking about the talented teenager, Hargreaves feels that ten Hag must continue to trust in him as he is a real difference-maker.

“Going off the evidence that we’ve seen, he’s played twice and he’s been amazing. Two games so far and he’s been the difference-maker. It’s an incredible rise for the young man”

It only looks like things can get better for Garnacho. He is still very young and has a lot to learn and there is no doubt that playing under a manager like Erik ten Hag is set to bring out the best in the Argentinian wonderkid.
