£35 million-rated Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu being eyed by Manchester United
Manchester United are interested in Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, according to Calciomercatoweb (h/t Manchester Evening News). The Red Devils are looking to add depth to the middle of the park.
The Nerazzurri would be willing to listen to offers for the 28-year-old Turkey international in the January transfer window for an offer in the region of £35 million.
A free-kick specialist, Calhanoglu joined Inter from AC Milan in the summer of 2021. The 28-year-old was an important part of the Rossoneri before opting to wear the black and blue of their city rivals.
In the previous campaign, the Turkish national featured 46 times for Inter, scoring eight goals and providing 13 assists. The playmaker has been an essential player for Simone Inzaghi this season, turning heads with his performances against Barcelona in the group stages of the Champions League.
Calhanoglu is a versatile player capable of playing in multiple positions. Over the years, the 28-year-old has been deployed in various forward and midfield roles. The Turkish national is also known for his quality on set pieces.
