Barcelona forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang prefers move to Chelsea over Manchester United

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang prefers a transfer to Chelsea over Manchester United if he were to move from Barcelona this summer as he wants Champions League football, according to Fabrizio Romano on Caught Offside (h/t Metro).

The Manchester-based club could offer the Gabonese striker a longer contract than the Blues. However, the Red Devils failed to make it to the top four last season, while Chelsea finished third in the Premier League. As a result, United won’t be playing in Europe’s biggest football competition.

Aubameyang has been linked with a move away from the Blaugrana as the La Liga outfit are looking to improve their financial situation. And Chelsea have already agreed personal terms with the 33-year-old. However, the Stamford Bridge side are yet to come to terms on a deal with Barcelona.
