Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly holds meeting with agent of Manchester United target Benjamin Sesko
According to Sport Klub (h/t Express), the co-owner of Chelsea, Todd Boehly, held a meeting with the agent of Manchester United target Benjamin Sesko this weekend.
The Blues co-owner met with the Slovenian’s agent Elvis Basanovic to talk about the 19-year-old RB Salzburg striker. The Red Devils now seem to have the Stamford Bridge side to worry about in a possible pursuit.
United have Sesko on their list of attacking options to bring in this summer. But the Austrian side have supposedly set a hefty price tag on the 19-year-old.
The Manchester-based club have a bunch of talented youngsters in their ranks at the moment. Academy stars Zidane Iqbal and Charlie Savage have caught everyone’s eyes. In addition, Hannibal Mejbri impressed fans in the couple of appearances he made towards the end of last season.
We also have James Garner in the side. The versatile midfielder had an excellent season with Nottingham Forest in the Championship in the previous campaign. Now, the 21-year-old returns to Old Trafford.
Up front, Alejandro Garnacho is another youngster showing bundles of talent in United’s youth sides. The 18-year-old was also called up to the Argentinian national side earlier this year.
Anthony Elanga has already proven his ability to play for the senior side at the age of 20. Last season, the Swedish national broke into the first team and performed better than some of the more established forwards in the squad.
United had attacking woes in the previous campaigns, with Cristiano Ronaldo the only attacker to contribute an adequate amount of goals. The other options like Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford bitterly disappointed fans.

Sesko is a tall and robust striker who seems to have the potential for a bright future. United have a lot of young talent in the squad and the Slovenian will only add to that if we pursue his signing. The 19-year-old would also be a decent option to bring off the bench if needed.
