Fans react as Manchester United dealt with a worrisome opening month in the 2022/23 fixture list
Manchester United are in line to face a difficult start to their Premier League 2022/23 season as the full fixture list has been released. They will start the campaign by facing off against Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford on Sunday 7 August, which would undoubtedly be a stern challenge, having been thrashed 4-0 last time around.
Man United’s only other home match in the opening month will be against Liverpool on 20 August, which is quite concerning, especially at the beginning of the season. The former will travel on the road to face off against Brentford, Southampton and Leicester City, which would be some tricky fixtures indeed.
This set of games should send a warning to the Manchester board about the importance of having a readied squad for Erik ten Hag to get through these league fixtures. After all, integrating the potential new signings at the earliest would be integral to dealing with a difficult start to our campaign.

Can Man Utd get through August?
October appears to be the crucial turning point of our season at this moment, considering how we would face off against four of our direct rivals in that month. Away games against Manchester City and Chelsea would undoubtedly be difficult, while Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United would still put up a fight at the Theatre of Dreams.
We cannot take Newcastle United lightly either, as they would probably look to build on their project under Eddie Howe this summer. Lastly, Everton is going through a difficult phase, but they too could plan to back Frank Lampard to get them out of their current plight.
As such, the Red Devils’ hierarchy must bring in the necessary reinforcements to support ten Hag this summer. We are yet to facilitate any business so far, which is quite concerning when others like Spurs have already made rumblings in the market.

The fans are quite concerned about the current situation as the Mancunians are yet to bolster their ranks ahead of a difficult season. They finally have an opportunity to build a solid project under a good manager, but ten Hag has not been provided with any signings so far.

Our ranks are in a declining state after the departures we would have this summer. Additions are necessary if there are plans to challenge for titles but making early transfers could be crucial now that we have been dealt with a difficult set of fixtures in August.
Here are how some supporters reacted on Twitter to the 2022/23 Premier League fixture list for the Red Devils being released.
Man Utd fan reactions
Well, I’m not ready for another humiliating 4-0 thrashing.. Hope the boys will have a better attitude that what we saw last season.. Those players are the problem.. They don’t wanna play for the united.. They don’t have manchester united at heart. They only play for the money

We are gonna be bottom 3 after the first 6 games at this rate. No signings and a championship midfield, the defence ain’t much better either.
