Milinkovic-Savic has proved that he is an excellent player and that he is a key part of any team that has him. The player has had over 30 appearances while in Rome, during which he contributed to his team with 21 goals.
Manchester United is looking for a replacement for Paul Pogba, the France midfielder. Milinkovic-Savic could be a great option, as he will give the team an upgrade. But more than one team is interested in signing the Serbian midfielder, therefore he is the one who has to choose between them. Milinkovic-Savic’s worth is reported to be £68m.
“Milinković-Savić has the characteristics of a great champion; he has extraordinary elegance,” said Demetrio Albertini, the sporting director of Parma.
Milinkovic-Savic’s Agent Denies Talks
Although there were discussions regarding Milinkovic-Savic potentially joining Manchester United, his agent has denied any reports that the midfielder is in talks with Man Utd regarding moving from Lazio.
There were comments attributed to Mateja Kezman which pointed to the fact that Milinkovic-Savic wishes to move to Manchester United as it is his preferred option. The comments also suggested that some discussions also took place with PSG.
However, Mateja Kezman said that no interview took place and that the reports were nothing more than “fake news”.
Man Utd has been dealing with central midfield issues for quite a long time now, so Milinkovic-Savic could be a solution considering his skills and performance. The Serbian player sparked the interest of Juventus and PSG.
