Manchester United reach decision on future of Paul Pogba depending on his stance
According to ESPN, Manchester United reached a decision on the future of Paul Pogba, depending on the stance he takes surrounding the contract situation. They are ready to hear offers from other clubs in the January transfer window if the midfielder has no intentions to renew his current contract.
Pogba has a contract with the Red Devils, which will expire at the end of the 2021-22 season. He could legally reach a pre-contract agreement with other foreign clubs in January if he is eyeing to move elsewhere at the end of his contract. However, he is yet to have cleared the air of the situation as the transfer window draws close with each passing day.
Man United expects the Frenchman to stay past the winter transfer window, but it is still unsure what path he would take moving forward. He is currently sidelined due to an injury that he picked up during the international break, which could disrupt the possibility of a January move.
Ultimatum!
The club needs to take control over the situation as things have dragged on for far too long. They need to give an ultimatum to the 28-year-old, asking the French midfielder to clear his side by stating whether he wants to stay or not. The more this keeps on going, the more uncertainty it creates within the team.
We are starting a new life under a new coach, and we need to be together to climb through the hardship and return to the glory days. The Manchester-based club needs to stand its ground and ask if someone wants to leave this project and let them go accordingly.
For the past few years, there has been so much drama behind the scenes that one might wonder whether the sporting side is given equal importance. Baggage like this keeps on bringing us down instead of purely having one particular aim within our mind. Talk around Paul Pogba has shifted from his performances on the pitch to what his future will be in the coming months, and that has been the case for far too long.
We have spent handsomely on Pogba over the years. The former Juventus star, on the other hand, has only shown glimpses of his best self. His performances just before his injury also looked like those of a man whose mind is not focused on the job at hand.

We have a lot of work to do on and off the pitch to get back in contention, and we should not waste our precious time on players who have to rethink twice before making a decision. Time will tell how United would react to the situation as there are not many days before the transfer window opens.
We have fared pretty well under Rangnick without Pogba, and it wouldn’t really be a shock if he leaves soon. We have mostly made our peace with a potential deal away from Old Trafford anyway- it now seems like a case of when rather than if.
