Manchester United are ready to ditch Paul Pogba after his contract expires next summer
According to the French press (h/t The Express), Manchester United are ready to ditch Paul Pogba once his contract expires next summer.
The 28-year-old is in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford and is yet to commit his future. The midfielder had a brilliant start to the campaign, snapping up 7 assists in four league games.
His form has since tapered off and is a liability more than an asset on this side. Pogba was brought on to change the game against Liverpool, but instead got sent off after just 10 minutes.
He cut a frustrated figure against Atalanta as well, after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer brought him off in the second half. It seems as though the Frenchman’s head is not in the game, and the prospect of a potential move could be on his mind.
The midfielder apparently wants to take a decision over his future depending on whether the club sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. A new manager could change the fortunes of the club and Pogba might want to play a part in it.
However, the Red Devils have now taken matters into their own hands. The Manchester-based outfit is ready to ditch the French international once his contract expires next summer. This would make the player eligible to talk to foreign clubs in January itself.

Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, and Real Madrid are said to be interested in securing a deal for the star. Mino Raiola has wanted his client to quit Old Trafford, and his wish may finally be coming true.
But for now, Pogba will focus on recuperating from his thigh injury. The player has been ruled out of action until the end of the year and is currently in Dubai for his recovery process as United gear up to face Watford on Saturday.
