Man United are struggling to maintain their form at the moment while being ripped apart by the bigger clubs. There has been a lack of pressing as well as a certain lethargy while passing the ball around. Pochettino could certainly bring about some drastic changes and his experience in the Premier League could be an added advantage.

Ralf Rangnick has also been linked to the manager’s role in recent weeks. It is believed that the 63-year-old wouldn’t settle for a temporary job but would be looking for a long-term role as the Director of Football for the Old Trafford outfit. It is, however, something that Pochettino is not keen on.

Man United have endured an abysmal start to this campaign. They have struggled to break down opponents and have relied heavily on players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes to provide some attacking threat. The Red Devils have also seemed to be spineless at the back with their defence leaking a ton of goals against the bigger clubs.
