Manchester United continue to set their sights on Juventus attacker Dejan Kulusevski
According to Calciomercato (h/t Sport Witness), young Juventus attacker Dejan Kulusevski could still be an option for Manchester United in the January transfer window.
The Swedish international has already played more than 60 games for the Turin outfit at such a tender age. He has scored eight goals and provided eight assists across all competitions during his time with the Bianconeri. Manchester United were believed to have a substantial interest in the youngster but it did not lead to any concrete deal.
The Red Devils have been struggling to maintain their consistency in the Premier League this season. Cristiano Ronaldo has carried them on numerous occasions but seems like a solitary figure at times. There has been a lack of attacking threat from the Old Trafford outfit in recent times.
Jadon Sancho has also found it tough to get going at Manchester United ever since he made the £73m switch to the PL club. The English international is yet to record his first goal or assist for the Red Devils. Marcus Rashford is still coming to full fitness which has considerably reduced his game time. This has taken a severe toll on the attacking department at Old Trafford.
Kulusevski could be an exciting future asset to the club. His experience at the top and in Europe could be handy while competing against the top teams. The 21-year-old also brings a certain versatility with him. He can play as a winger as well as a midfielder which could come in handy in crunch situations.
