Manchester United might lose wonderkid Martin Svidersky on a free transfer with Atalanta and Napoli interested
According to Stretty News (h/t The Sun), Manchester United are facing the prospect of losing wonderkid Martin Svidersky on a free transfer amidst interest from Atalanta and Napoli.
The Red Devils have a plethora of talent in their academy but are now running the risk of losing one of their marquee talents on a free transfer. Martin Svidersky joined the Carrington academy from Slovakian team, Tatran Presov, in 2018 and has since shined in the famous red jersey.
He has put in the hard yards in his development and is now working wonders in the Under-23 side as he is one of the first names on the team sheet. This season alone, the winger-turned holding midfielder has made 13 appearances and has also featured in the centre-back role once.
However, the youngster does not see a future for himself in the senior side under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Norwegian has players galore in his squad with several stars also vying for game-time.
This has also led to Svidersky rejecting a new contract despite the continuous efforts of the Manchester-based club to extend his current deal.
But given that the starlet turned 19 last year, he would want to feature in top division teams. In fact, he is already plotting an exit from the theatre of dreams and prefers a move to Italy or Germany.

The former Tatran Presov man has attracted interest from Serie A clubs Napoli & Atalanta, while Hoffenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt are also ready to bring the United ace to the Bundesliga.
Regardless, this could be a huge loss for the Red Devils because the youngster could become a world-beater someday and seal a move to one of their rivals in the future. Thus, as long as the player is in Manchester, United must do their best to convince the talented Slovakian that his future lies here.
