Transfer News: Paul Pogba could be set for a Manchester United exit as Mino Raiola sets up Juventus meeting

According to the latest transfer news on Football Italia (h/t Daily Star), Manchester United star Paul Pogba might be on the move to Italy as Mino Raiola is set to hold talks with Juventus in November over a potential move for his client.

The French international is yet again at the centre of a transfer saga, and his agent is making sure he gets the best deal possible. United’s most expensive transfer ever, Pogba is in the final 10 months of his current deal and could perhaps leave Old Trafford as a free agent next summer.

Given his contribution to the club this season (7 assists in 7 starts), Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would want to hold onto his midfield star as he looks to build a star-studded squad. However, the 28-year-old might have different plans.

The player’s agent, Mino Raiola, is thought to have set up a meeting in November with Juventus to discuss a potential move for two of his clients–Pogba and Alessandro Romagnoli.

The Frenchman spent four successful years in Turin as he won multiple Serie A titles and also made it to the 2015 Champions League final. A return may be on the cards, but the Old Lady are not the only club interested in securing the United ace’s services.

Real Madrid and Paris-Saint Germain are also touted to be possible options as they are keen on landing the 28-year-old player as a free agent at the end of this season.

The Manchester-based outfit, however, would be looking to agree on a new deal with their midfield superstar by the end of this year, thereby making him ineligible to talk to foreign clubs in the January transfer window.

Regardless of the recent form, Solskjaer has built an exciting project at the club, and if not him, another manager could reap the rewards of it and for that, he will need the best players to stay, including Pogba.
