Paul Pogba snubs Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and stalls Manchester United contract talks
According to The Sun, Paul Pogba snubbed Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the defeat to Liverpool and has also stalled over talks of a new contract.
The 28-year-old started the season in good form as he was the focal point for every single positive thing that was coming out of United’s attack. In his first four Premier League games, the Frenchman managed to pull off a ridiculous 7 assists.
However, since facing Newcastle United at home in mid-September, Pogba has not been able to contribute to a single goal. He produced a stellar performance with France in the UEFA Nations League, playing in a midfield pivot with Aurelien Tchouameni but failed to do the same a few days later alongside Nemanja Matic against Leicester City.
His horrid defensive work played a part in the Foxes running riot on the day as they knocked in four goals to United’s 2. The French international was later left out of the starting lineup against Atalanta but was influential in the come-back in the second half.
While he was brought on as an impact substitute against Liverpool as well, he was at fault for The Reds’ fifth goal, and things only turned worse when he went lunging into a tackle with Naby Keita and got sent off.
Post the game, the midfielder apologized to his teammates but refused to talk to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Norwegian is said to have lost the senior members of the dressing room, and it appears as though the Pogba is one of them.

In fact, the former Juventus man has also shelved all contract talks with the club and could now leave as a free agent at the end of the season, with several clubs interested.
Thus, it could be the end of the road for either Solskjaer or Pogba at United, and it remains to be seen whether the two rectify their relationship any time soon.
