Speaking on the YouTube channel ‘Vibe with Five’ (h/t Caught Offside), Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Manchester United are lining up a big-money move in the upcoming transfer windows.
The Red Devils have spent serious money for the last three to four years and have assembled one of the best squads in the world, if not the Premier League.
In 2019, the Old Trafford outfit nearly broke their club record transfer by signing Harry Maguire while they also got in Aaron wan-Bissaka on big money. In January 2020, Bruno Fernandes was brought to Manchester from Sporting CP for a hefty transfer fee.
The Manchester-based club did nothing different this summer as they brought in the likes of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, Raphael Varane from Real Madrid, and Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus.
Thus, the investments have been sound, and it does not look like they are stopping there. Further moves are being lined up, and a big-money move is also on the precipice, according to the update provided by journalist Fabrizio Romano on the YouTube channel ‘Vibe with Five’ (h/t Caught Offside).
Romano also added that Declan Rice or Ruben Neves could be the kind of names on this list. It is thought that the Red Devils are targeting a central defensive midfielder for next summer, but it remains to be seen who they bring in.
