Gary Neville believes Manchester United should sign Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham ahead of Declan Rice

According to a Q & A done by Gary Neville on his official Twitter account (h/t Metro), the Manchester United legend feels that his former club should sign Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham instead of West Ham United ace Declan Rice.

It has been said that the Red Devils are prioritizing a move for a defensive midfielder next summer but are unsure of making a move for West Ham star Declan Rice, according to ESPN (h/t Metro).

The 22-year-old was said to be on the club’s radar but his £100million valuation is not a figure United would be keen on shelling out to secure the Englishman’s services.

The Red Devils are believed to be looking for alternatives for Rice in the market, and Gary Neville was quizzed recently about the same.

The Manchester United legend was doing a Q & A on Twitter and was asked several questions, including choosing a midfielder for his former side with the West Ham ace and Dortmund star Jude Bellingham as the two options.

Neville responded instantaneously, as he chose Bellingham over the Premier League midfielder. The 18-year-old has impressed since joining the German club last summer and has not put a foot wrong yet.

Bellingham was also chosen by Gareth Southgate for the Euros this summer as a part of the midfield contingent. The Dortmund ace has already made 9 appearances for the Bundesliga club this season and has contributed to 6 goals from midfield.

However, while Neville would prefer that United sign Bellingham, it remains to be seen whether the German outfit would be ready to let go of their midfielder so soon after signing him.
