Local MP Kate Green left impressed by the facilities at Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United
According to the club’s official site, local MP Kate Green has given her seal of approval for the facilities on offer at Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United.
She gave the appraisal after joining the Manchester United Disabled Supporters Association (MUDSA) and the United staff at Old Trafford in checking out the new accessibility facilities at Old Trafford.
The MP for Stretford and Urmston, Green was full of praise for the new development and celebrated MUDSA’s efforts and the club’s investment.
“It is a fantastic facility and I’m really excited to be here and to see what’s been created here because I know it’s been a long-standing dream for the club and especially for the disabled supporters’ association.”
“It’s just stunning to look out there and you can see the whole pitch really clearly in front of you, and it’s got a really warm welcoming vibe as well.”
The facility isn’t just aesthetically pleasing but also big and spacious. Green goes on to add that the facility has been built taking into account positive vibes. The view is great from all around the stands and anyone attending are in for an experience indeed.
“I’m just blown away by it, it’s so spacious.”
Green went on to add just how friendly the facilities were for disabled fans. Those in need can visit Old Trafford without any hitches and enjoy the game as any other fan in the stadium.
“It is really inclusive and it’s great that disabled fans can sit anywhere in the stadium.”
With Cristiano Ronaldo back at the club, there is much expectation in the air at United. It is fair to say that even those with special needs have nothing to worry about should they choose to visit the Theatre of Dreams.
Green praised MUDSA, who played an integral role in the redesign and construction of the new accessibility facilities. The organization offer both advice and guidance throughout the project.
“I’m especially proud to be the MP for MUDSA, the disabled supporters’ association.”
